MARIA MUSHTRIEVA

b. Kyzyl-Syr Yakutia, Russia / since 2006 based in Berlin, Germany. She has a background as an editor, researcher, writer, and performer. Her creative work, which follows on from these foundations, centers on text and the ways in which it can be loaded, instrumentalized, and reconfigured, exploring the tension between oral and written texts, poetry and reportage, draft and master copy. 

She is a part of a femme hip-hop band R&D, one of the co-editors together with Romy Kießling and Gabriela Acha of the “Agathe Bauer” publication series (TLTRPreß), initiator of a text-based event series LOW TEXT as a part of the collective After The Eclipse (Flutgraben e.v.). Her last collection of texts appeared in sync.03.2019. She is a part of Poet’s Corner series of poesiefestival berlin in 2020.

ANA KHATCHIKIAN

is an Argentine writer, illustrator, and musician based in Berlin. Besides trying to conjure the realm of the undead into this world, she spends the rest of her time translating her drawings into tattoos and makings zines.

JASMINA AL-QAISI

is a visual researcher, writer, and archivist. She investigates intersections between body politics, intimacy, digitally mediated relationships, homes, and aways often in close communication with her grandmother. She transfers poetry in performative acts and sound with gastronomy into radio formats, and she conducts an on-going radio and culinary research titled Bites. At SAVVY Contemporary she is part of the team for sound art and experimental music 'Untrainig the Ear'. She is also an archivist at SAVVY.doc. She joined the artistic research project Research and Waves, where she writes, thinks, and researches on various themes. She publishes in Revista ARTA and often develops concepts for independent art and culture initiatives. She co-authors diverse audio actions with the artist Ralf Wendt.

MAGDALENA JADWIGA HÄRTELOVA

is an artist and curator based in Berlin. In her poetic practice, she explores the limits of intimacy, goes after what grows in the hollows of communication, and tries to sketch glimpses of the ambiguous dimensions of things we are taught as linear in character, such as time and identity. Härtelova's projects are often interdisciplinary and collaborative, and includes partnerships with musicians and participatory performances. 

She currently curates for the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, while her own work has been exhibited at the Royal Cultural Center in Amman, the Anchorage Museum, the Berkeley Art Museum, Hubbell Street Galleries in San Francisco, Kreuzberg Pavillon in Berlin, and Prague's Cross Attic in Prague.

INNA KRASNOPER

was born in Ufa, Russia and has lived in Berlin since 2011. She received a BA in Dance, Context, Choreography at the Inter-University Centre for Dance (HZT Berlin) and has taken part in the activities of the Chto Delat Collective at the School of Engaged Art in St. Petersburg. Inna locates her practice in the interstices of movement and writing and creates work in the form of installation, performance, sound, and video poetry. Inna is part of the several collectives and projects, including "Space-in-g", "[In]exhaustible Resource", "On Transitions", "Seven States of Matter", "Three Julietttes", and "to butt’ns". She works with text and translation in Russian and English, and her writing has been published in Stadtsprachen magazin; [Translit] Journal #22, Articulation Project №8, This Container 07, Slanted House Zine #3, and Boevoy Lepestok.

JENNY BROWNE

spent her childhood writing pop songs, which later became poems. Studied Creative Writing in Manchester before moving to Berlin two years ago, but has since thrown all traditional poetics in the bin. Her work bounces from mental health to Tinder to life in the city through intimate snapshots and observations. She seeks to explore the fragility of the human condition, sex and the queer body, and the struggles of womxnkind.

is a Birmingham-born writer, poet, artist, and curator based in Berlin. She is the founder of the Afro-European archive, The Black Borough, co-founder of writers' and arts' collective, Poet & Prophetess and co-curator of The R.A.P Party Berlin. She has written for Sleek Magazine, Highsnobiety, Berlin Art Link and YEOJA Magazine. Her work has been published by The Gentlemen Press and Eggbox Publishing. Through writing and performance, she addresses the Black Caribbean diaspora, queer identities, and race relations.

is an artist who works with various mediums. She pretends to be each medium but really uses them to derive a sense of being human. The work is an observation of human reality using herself as the blank canvas to apply the idea.

She then lived in London for nearly a decade where she turned to music and writing. Now based in Berlin. Her words have appeared in Poetry London, SAND, FU Review, stadtsprachen, The Delinquent. She is the vocalist and lyricist of the duo Paco Sala.
